1,200 Teal, 195 Mal­lards, 47 Pin­tails, 174 Shov­el­ers, a Bit­tern (25th), just 34 Lit­tle Egrets, a Great White Egret (12th), a record 22 Spoon­bills, Red Kite (4th), Mer­lin (1st), Hob­bies (to 24th), 1,020 Avo­cets, 202 Ringed Plovers, 220 Dun­lin, a Knot, four San­der­ling, 15 Lit­tle Stints, three Curlew Sand­pipers, 14 Grey Plovers, 70 Ruff, 27 Snipe, 217 Black-tailed God­wits, 15 Bar-tailed God­wits, 260 Curlews, 26 Spot­ted Red­shanks, 27 Green­shanks, a Wood Sand­piper, two Com­mon Sand­pipers, a Stonechat (17th-18th), nine Whin­chats (18th) and 160 Goldfinches. BAR­TON: There were two Bar­na­cle Geese and a Red-crested Pochard (29th), the Scaup all month, a Great White Egret (23rd), two Ospreys (9th) and one (26th), a Lit­tle Ringed Plover (to 2nd), 840 Golden Plovers, a Knot (6th), two Curlew Sand­pipers and three Com­mon Sand­piper (3rd), a Swift and Tree Pipit (9th), two Stonechats (30th), 20 Cetti’s War­blers, 50 Bearded Tits, two Wil­low War­blers (6th) and two Jays (1st). DONNA NOOK-PYES HALL: No­table birds in­cluded 88 dark-bel­lied Brent Geese, a Gar­ganey (15th), four Eiders (5th), two Vel­vet Scot­ers (18th), three Spoon­bills, a record 74 Lit­tle Egrets, 12 Kestrels, a Mer­lin (23rd), Hob­bies on four dates, Osprey (9th), Honey Buz­zard (30th), Hen Har­ri­ers (23rd and 30th), 13 Buz­zards and a Red Kite (5th). There were 28 Green­shanks, six Green Sand­pipers, 2,000 Knot, 13 Curlew Sand­pipers, Great Skuas (18th and 28th), a Po­ma­rine Skua (11th), Long-tailed Skua (18th), seven Wil­low War­blers, four Yel­low-browed War­blers (16th-27th), four Red­starts, seven Whin­chats, three Spot­ted Fly­catch­ers, Pied Fly­catch­ers (6th and 20th), two Tree Pip­its (19th), three Rock Pip­its and a La­p­land Bunt­ing (22nd-23rd).
