HIGH­LIGHTS: A Ken­tish Plover was at Spurn (10th), with a Citrine Wag­tail there (15th), Pal­las’s Grasshop­per War­bler (16th) and Blyth’s Reed War­bler (18th). A Buff-breasted Sand­piper was at Grim­ston (13th). FLAM­BOR­OUGH: There was an Ic­ter­ine War­bler (1st), Po­ma­rine Skua, Caspian Gull, Yel­low-legged Gull and Mediter­ranean Gull (2nd), and a Balearic Shear­wa­ter (3rd). A Pec­toral Sand­piper and Great North­ern Diver were seen (4th), with two Cory’s Shear­wa­ters, a Sabine’s Gull, two Roseate Terns, two Po­ma­rine Skuas, a Vel­vet Scoter and nine Lit­tle Egrets (5th). Other Sabine’s Gull ap­peared (6th, 17th (two), 20th (two) and 21st). A Black Guille­mot, Long-tailed Skua, Po­ma­rine Skua and two Balearic Shear­wa­ters were noted (10th), with two Mediter­ranean Gulls (11th) and three Caspian Gulls (12th). There was a Richard’s Pipit (13th), four Long-tailed Skuas and two Balearic Shear­wa­ters (16th), and two Great Shear­wa­ters, seven Long-tailed Skuas, 1,003 Sooty Shear­wa­ters, two Roseate Terns and four Vel­vet Scot­ers (17th). A Honey Buz­zard, nine Long-tailed Skuas, a Barred War­bler and two Yel­low-browed War­blers were noted (18th). There was a Dot­terel (19th-20th), Black Guille­mot (19th), a Bluethroat and three Long-tailed Skuas (20th), and an amaz­ing 103Yel­low-browed War­blers plus a Red-breasted Fly­catcher (21st). A Bean Goose stayed for the fi­nal week. There were three Balearic Shear­wa­ters (25th) and eight Scaup (28th). HORNSEA MERE: There was a Gar­ganey and Black Tern (1st), a Great White Egret (7th), a Long-tailed Skua, Yel­low-legged Gull and two Vel­vet Scot­ers (17th), six Lit­tle Egrets, a Yel­low-browed War­bler (21st) and Scaup (27th). NORTH CAVE WET­LANDS: The Spot­ted Crake re­mained (to 7th), with a Gar­ganey (4th-15th), Crane (21st), 14 Lit­tle Egrets and the oc­ca­sional Yel­low-legged Gull. SPURN: A Barred War­bler and two Roseate Terns were seen (1st), with a Caspian Gull and three Roseate Terns (3rd), and a Long-tailed Skua plus two Po­ma­rine Skuas (4th). A Wry­neck and a Great North­ern Diver were found (6th). Pas­sage in­volved a Great White Egret, Black-throated Diver and two Balearic Shear­wa­ters (7th), a Corn­crake (9th) and three Yel­low-legged Gulls (13th). A Sabine’s Gull and Long-tailed Skua flew past (14th). There was a Green­ish War­bler, Leach’s Pe­trel, Long-tailed Skua and Red-necked Grebe (18th), with a Leach’s Pe­trel, nine Long-tailed Skuas, two Balearic Shear­wa­ters, 361 Sooty Shear­wa­ters and six Vel­vet Scot­ers (16th). An Or­tolan Bunt­ing and Richard’s Pipit ar­rived (19th), with a Firecrest (21st). Yel­low-browed War­blers peaked at 19 (22nd). A Spoonbill flew over (23rd), with two Great White Egrets and a Crane (25th) and a Richard’s Pipit (28th). Fif­teen Lit­tle Egrets and 62 Mediter­ranean Gulls were found. OTHER SITES: Buck­ton had two Lit­tle Egrets, a Com­mon Rosefinch (18th), and 14 Yel­low-browed War­blers plus a Dot­terel (21st). A Great White Egret was at Black­toft Sands (to 12th), where a Gar­ganey, Spoonbill and 25 Lit­tle Egrets were noted. A Corn­crake was at Eas­ing­ton (11th). Yel­low-browed War­blers were at Grim­ston (15th), Spee­ton (three on 21st) and Driffield (30th). Bemp­ton had 19 (21st). A Long-tailed Skua was there (20th). A Caspian Gull and 14 Yel­low-legged Gulls were at Goole Fields (29th). A Caspian Gull was near Swine­fleet (30th). A Great White Egret was at Paull Holme Strays (30th).
