NORTH NORTHUM­BER­LAND: Ospreys were at Fen­ham Le Moor (1st) and Ch­eswick Sands (3rd). Some 147 Sooty Shear­wa­ters flew past Boul­mer (17th). A Cory’s Shear­wa­ter passed Bead­nell Bay (5th). Long Nanny logged a colour-ringed Lesser Grey Shrike from a Span­ish rein­tro­duc­tion pro­gramme (13th) and a fly-over Bee-eater. The Farne Is­lands pro­duced a Pa­cific Golden Plover (13th). Holy Is­land high­lights in­cluded a Pal­lid Har­rier (15th-16th), Thrush Nightin­gale (18th), Green­ish War­bler (17th), Pec­toral Sand­piper (25th) and seven Red-breasted Fly­catch­ers. A Lesser Yel­lowlegs was at Beal (28th). A Black-browed Al­ba­tross flew past Low New­ton (18th). A Rose-coloured Star­ling was in Roseden (21st-29th). Sev­eral Yel­low-browed War­blers were on Holy Is­land, with oth­ers at Boul­mer, How­ick, The Farne Is­lands and Bu­dle Point. A Baird’s Sand­piper was at Boul­mer (30th).
