There are excellent views over Abbotts Lake from here. Look out for grebes and Shelducks on the middle of the water.
From this hide you can quietly observe the more discerning birds such as Oystercatchers and Green Sandpipers.
Keep an eye out for woodland favouring species on the way to this hide, while rarities seen from here have included Purple Heron.
This hide looks out over towards the RSPB’S Rye Meads site. Look out for Bitterns over the latter, while Kingfishers prefer this side of the A414 bypass.
