HOW TO GET THERE: Fol­low the signs for the RSPB re­serve at Gru­inart which is signed from the A847 Brid­gend to Bruich­lad­dich road and is three miles from the junc­tion. Then carry on past the re­serve un­til you reach a T-junc­tion. Turn right, fol­low­ing the road around Loch Gorm un­til you see the small car park and a track lead­ing to the right

WHERE TO PARK: Park in the small car park. Do not try to drive up the track

TER­RAIN: Most of the area has sand some­where, but the tracks are harder so stout footwear is ad­vis­able
