HIGH­LIGHTS: Yel­low-browed War­blers were at Mor­gan’s Hill and Lower Moors. Great White Egrets were at Lang­ford Lakes and Pewsey. A Siberian Chif­fchaff and Black-necked Grebe were at the Cotswold Wa­ter Park. Black Red­starts were at West Ken­net, Ford and Sher­ston. Late sum­mer mi­grants in­cluded Red­starts at Sta­ple­ford Down and Bishop’s Can­nings Down, a Hobby at Sto­ford, Spot­ted Fly­catcher at Od­stock, Whitethroat on SPTA(C) and Ring Ouzels at Cley Hill, Lid­ding­ton Hill, Alling­ton Down, Win­ter­bourne Down and Ave­bury Down. Early win­ter ar­rivals in­cluded a Bram­bling at Dance Com­mon, five Cross­bills at Sal­is­bury, a Goosander at Coate Wa­ter and Jack Snipe at the Wa­ter Park, Swin­don STW and Blake­hill. Hen Har­ri­ers were at Beck­hamp­ton, SPTA(E) and Lower Pert­wood. Mer­lins were at Sto­ford, SPTA(E), Ave­bury and Druid’s Lodge. Rob Turner
