EAST SUSSEX: A Red-flanked Bluetail was at Beachy Head (8th). A Booted Warbler was at Seaford Head (12th). A Grey Phalarope and Spoonbill were at Rye Harbour (1st). A Red-backed Shrike remained around Tide Mills (1st-2nd). A Montagu’s Harrier flew over East Guldeford Level (1st). A Great Grey Shrike was in Ashdown Forest (from 18th), with one at Lewes. Great White Egrets were at Bewl Water, Cuckmere Haven, Weir Wood Reservoir, and Rye Harbour.
WEST SUSSEX: An Ortolan Bunting was at Arundel (6th). Two Great White Egrets were at East Preston (9th), with one over Pagham Harbour (24th). A Great Grey Shrike was at Black Down NT (9th), along with 30 Ring Ouzels. A Pallas’s Warbler was at Pagham Harbour (27th).
