AVON VALLEY: A Shore Lark, Black Redstart, Hawfinch, two Crossbills, nine Ring Ouzels and a Short-eared Owl were on Bredon Hill. A Hen Harrier was at John Bennett Wetland. A Greenshank and Pintail were at Kemerton Lake. A Ruff was at Lower Moor. A Great Grey Shrike was at Marlcliff Hill.
CENTRAL: A Wood Lark flew over Blackpole. A Greenshank and three Pintails were at Westwood Pool.
GRIMLEY: Highlights included two Yellow-browed Warblers, Great White Egret, Bittern, two Water Pipits, Brent Goose and five Pintails.
LOWER SEVERN VALLEY: A White-fronted Goose, two Garganeys, two Red-crested Pochards, three Pintails, Goldeneye, Hobby and two Rock Pipits were at Ripple.
MALVERN HILLS: Seven Ring Ouzels and 20 Bramblings were in Happy Valley. Seven Crossbills flew over North Hill.
NORTH: Two Knot and five Red-crested Pochards were at Bittell Reservoirs. Five Crossbills were at Callow Hill. A Wood Lark was at Chaddesley Corbett. Ten Bramblings were on Clent Hill. A Great White Egret was at Frankley. A Marsh Harrier and Black Tern were at Hewell Grange. A probable Richard’s Pipit was at Lickhill Quarry (30th). A Hen Harrier was at Timberhanger. A Firecrest was on Walton Hill. An Osprey flew over Wilden Top.
