1 A small car park shows you the entrance onto the sands from Kingsteps. Look out for finches and buntings while approaching the coast.
2 The view of this amazing sand system takes your breath away! In summer look out for breeding waders and woodland birds along the edge of Culbin Forest.
3 Walking out at low tide a bar draws roosting waders, gulls and terns. Check the sea duck and divers out in the Moray Firth.
4 Check the top end of Culbin Bar for more roosting birds and passage along the Moray Firth. 5 Walk back via the forest edge or inside with the many tracks listening out for tit flocks to find Crested Tit, especially in winter. 4
