WILTSHIRE
HIGHLIGHTS: Four Cattle Egrets and nine Little Egrets were at Swanborough Tump. Great White Egrets were at the Water Park and Ratfyn STW. Chiffchaffs included 30 at Westbury STW, together with smaller numbers at Colerne STW, Ratfyn STW and Wishford STW. A Siberian Chiffchaff remained at Westbury STW. A Bittern was at Langford Lakes for four days. Fifteen Waxwings were at Trowbridge and 10 at Whitley. There were 19 Goosanders at Corsham Lake. Forty Siskins were at Wardour. There were a few flocks of Redpolls and Crossbills at Groveley, Great Ridge and Chase Woods but only one Brambling record. Large flocks of Corn Buntings were encouraging, with 80 at Hindon, 60 at Rushall and 50 at Mountain Bower and Middle Woodford. There was a Caspian Gull at Old Sarum. A Dipper was at Swindon. Mediterranean Gulls were at Langford Lakes and Old Sarum. Rob Turner
