HOLYHEAD AREA: A Glau­cous Gull and Great North­ern Diver were in Holyhead Har­bour. The In­land Sea held a Black-necked Grebe, 17 Scaup, 15 Mediter­ranean Gulls and a Long-tailed Duck. A Bit­tern was at Val­ley Wet­lands. Bed­dma­n­arch Bay had two Slavo­nian Grebes, two Great North­ern Divers, 130 Brent Geese and 11 Mediter­ranean Gulls. Four Long-tailed Ducks, two Red-throated Divers and a Mediter­ranean Gull re­mained in Treard­dur Bay. The Range, South Stack had a La­p­land Bunting, Jack Snipe, Short-eared Owl and five Red-throated Divers. A win­ter­ing Green Sand­piper and Whooper Swan were on the Alaw Es­tu­ary. OTHER SITES: Five Cattle Egrets re­mained at Pont Mar­quis along with many Lit­tle Egrets. Llyn Coron held six Pink-footed Geese and two Marsh Har­ri­ers. A Hen Har­rier and four Green­shanks were at Mall­traeth. A Mer­lin and Hooded Crow were at Cem­lyn. Mall­traeth Marsh RSPB held a Bit­tern, Marsh Har­rier, Mer­lin, Black-tailed God­wit and Cetti’s War­bler. Ken Croft
