HIGH­LIGHTS: A to­tal of 131 Waxwings were at five lo­ca­tions (1st-19th). A Siberian Chif­fchaff was at Kep­tie Ponds, Ar­broath (1st). Monikie CP held a Green Sand­piper. Kin­nordy held a Smew (6th) and Bit­tern (16th). Lin­tra­then had a Red-necked Grebe through­out and Amer­i­can Wi­geon (to 24th). A Lit­tle Auk flew north at Whit­ing Ness (8th). A Slavo­nian Grebe was at Lu­nan Bay (10th). Two pale-bel­lied Brent Geese were at Craig Mill Burn (10th). A White-fronted Goose was with Pink­feet at Lin­ross Road (12th). Two White-tailed Ea­gles were in an Angus glen (19th). Two Ravens were at Back Wa­ter Dam (24th). LOCH OF KIN­NORDY: Tree Spar­rows and Bram­blings came to feed­ers. Teal, Tufted Duck and Mute Swan were reg­u­lar. LOCH OF LIN­TRA­THEN: There was a Great Crested Grebe, Lit­tle Grebe, Coot, Gold­en­eye, Wi­geon, Whooper Swan, and Tufted Duck. A Bram­bling flock was on the perime­ter of the re­serve. MONTROSE BASIN: High­lights in­cluded a Lit­tle Egret and King­fisher (8th), 20 Twite, four Lit­tle Grebes, 46 Cor­morants, four Herons, 12 Mute Swans, five Pink­feet, 384 Shel­ducks, 2,954 Wi­geon, 100 Teal, 176 Mal­lards, ten Shov­el­ers, 167 Eiders, 16 Gold­eneyes, 70 Pin­tails, three Goosanders, two Moorhens, 1,346 Oys­ter­catch­ers, 354 Knot, 1,130 Dun­lin, 129 Black-tailed God­wits, 15 Bar-tailed God­wits, 818 Curlews, 1,733 Red­shanks, three Green­shanks, three Turn­stones, two Guillemots, seven Black-headed Gulls, five Com­mon Gulls, five Her­ring Gulls and a Great Black-backed Gull. OTHER SITES: Barry Bud­don logged a Spar­rowhawk, two Buz­zards, four Field­fares, six Mute Swans, a Stonechat, Meadow Pipit, Kestrel, Sky­larks and a Heron. Crom­bie CP (5th) had a large flock of Red­polls. Lu­nan Bay (10th) had eight Ful­mars. Mur­ton Re­serve, For­far (11th) held 800 Wi­geon, a Pin­tail, and 60 Gad­wall. Craig Mill Den (18th) had Buz­zard and Dip­per. East Haven had a Grey Wag­tail, two Mag­pies, a Tree Sparrow, Red­shank, Ringed Plover and three Oys­ter­catch­ers. Monifieth Bay (23rd) held 70 Bar-tailed God­wits, three Turn­stones, a San­der­ling and a Lesser Black-backed Gull. Carnoustie Bay (20th) had two Gan­nets, three Guillemots, two Ra­zor­bills, 12 Long-tailed Ducks, 20 Com­mon Scot­ers, three Red-throated Divers, 10 Eiders and two Red-breasted Mer­gansers.
