PALE TUSSOCK

Stretching out the hairiest of forelegs like a Persian cat waking up, this Pale Tussock is among the cutest of all Britain’s moths. Adults emerge in May and fly until the end of June. Favouring lightly wooded or scrubby habitats, this endearing creature is one of the commonest moths attracted to garden light-traps this month.
