JERSEY: The north-west coast held 35 Choughs, Ravens, a Black Guille­mot, four Puffins, 14 Ra­zor­bills, Guille­mots, Ful­mars, Shags, Her­ring Gulls, Lesser Black-backed Gulls and Great Black-backed Gulls. Short-toed Treecreep­ers were in most val­leys. Dart­ford War­blers sang along the north and south-west coasts. Hoopoes were at Vic­to­ria Tower and St Ouens. There were 18 Pur­ple Sand­pipers and 250 Turn­stones on the Ecre­hous reef. A Gar­ganey, 20 Marsh Har­ri­ers, Shel­ducks, Black-tailed God­wits, Com­mon Sand­pipers, Green­shanks and Snipe were at the Wet­land Cen­tre. St Au­bin held 96 pale-bel­lied Brent Geese. Sorel had a Honey Buz­zard, Yel­lowham­mer, Serin, Ring Ouzels and Wheatears. A Short-eared Owl was at Noir­mont. La Rocque had a Ken­tish Plover, Dun­lin, San­der­ling, Ringed Plovers, Grey Plovers, Bar-tailed God­wits, Curlews, Whim­brels and two Curlew Sand­pipers. Grou­ville had Cirl Buntings, Grasshop­per War­blers, Reed War­blers, Sedge War­blers and Cetti’s War­blers. Nine­teen Cat­tle Egrets were seen across the is­land. Com­mon Sand­pipers, Hob­bies and Swifts and thou­sands of hirundines mi­grated through. A Firecrest sang at Mont les Vaux.
