HIGHLIGHTS: Two Black-winged Stilts were at the Ouse Washes (from 24th), with five at March Farmers (29th). The Ouse Washes had a Purple Heron (23rd), two Cattle Egrets (24th-26th), 15 Scaup, 13 Garganeys (1st) and a Black Tern (2nd). A Cattle Egret was at Earith and Fen Drayton Lakes (16th-17th). The Glossy Ibis remained at Ely (to 5th). A Red-rumped Swallow was at Ferry Meadows CP (17th-18th). Two Dotterel were at Great Damms Fen (27th) and one flew over Wendy (30th). The Ring-necked Duck remained at Paxton Pits (to 18th). A Great Grey Shrike was at Wicken Fen (to 3rd). Redstarts were at Knapwell (13th), Castor Hanglands (15th) and Clopton (16th). A Black Redstart was at Hardwick (8th). Ring Ouzels included two at Byall Fen and Paxton Pits, and singles at Little Thetford, Folksworth, Brampton, Ferry Meadows, Wicken Fen and Woodwalton Fen. Maxima included 87 Arctic Terns at Grafham Water (27th) and 41 Black Terns at Paxton Pits (30th). Grafham Water also logged a Red-necked Grebe (5th), three Common Scoters (5th), with one (30th), three Sandwich Terns (9th) and a Kittiwake (15th). A Glaucous Gull was at Cottenham (2nd), with an Iceland Gull at Dogsthorpe Tip (6th and 21st).
