HIGHLIGHTS: An Iberian Chiffchaff sang at Seaton GP (1st-6th). A Lesser Yellowlegs was at Dungeness RSPB (22nd-23rd). A Ring-necked Duck was there throughout, a Great White Egret (5th & 15th-17th), and two Wrynecks (30th). A Serin went past Reculver (7th). A Cattle Egret was at Grove Ferry NNR (10th) and one was at Collard’s Lake the same day; there was one at Stodmarsh NNR (14th-23rd). A Black Kite was over Birchingto­n (10th). Elmley NNR had a Black-winged Stilt (10th). Alpine Swifts were reported at Margate and Shuart (14th), Kingsdown, Sandwich Bay and Worth Marsh (16th). A Wryneck was at Higham Marshes (23rd). A Crane flew over Chatham (24th). A female Red-footed Falcon was at Grove Ferry NNR (25th). A Hoopoe was at Folkestone (29th). A White Stork was over Aylesford (29th). Black Kites were at Seabrook and Folkestone (30th). A Richard’s Pipit was at Shell Ness/swale NNR (3rd).
