HIGHLIGHTS: Suffolk’s first American Herring Gull was at Great Livermere (15th-16th). Two Iceland Gulls and a Glaucous Gull were also in the area. A Ring-billed Gull was at Minsmere (28th). A White-tailed Eagle was at Kirton (20th), Westleton Heath (21st) and Stutton Ness (26th). An Ortolan was at Corton (24th). Red-rumped Swallows were at Boyton Marshes
(15th) and Trimley Marshes (16th-17th). A Bluethroat was at Lowestoft (1st). Wrynecks were at Heveningham (14th) and Carlton Marshes (22nd). A Savi’s Warbler was at Minsmere (from 19th), with a Black Kite there (6th). A Black-winged Stilt was at Carlton Marshes (20th). Three visited Hollesley and Boyton Marshes, and Orfordness (30th). A Dotterel was on Havergate Island (21st). Glossy Ibises were at Lakenheath Fen and at Mickle Mere (from 27th). The Cattle Egret remained at Iken, and was joined by another (from 14th).
