Cel­e­brate bird mi­gra­tion

Spurn Mi­gra­tion Fes­ti­val 2017 will take place over 8-10 Septem­ber, with the aim of cel­e­brat­ing the nat­u­ral spec­ta­cle that is bird mi­gra­tion. Renowned ex­pert in bird mi­gra­tion, Pro­fes­sor Ian New­ton – au­thor of the Collins New Nat­u­ral­ist ‘Bird Mi­gra­tion’ – as its key­note speaker. Along­side talks through­out the week­end, there are reg­u­lar guided walks to look at waders on the Hum­ber, mi­grants in the bushes and birds pass­ing by, both over­head and at off­shore.
