DIGISCOPER COMPETITION

There’s still time to enter Swarovski Optik’s Digiscoper of the Year competition, which has a top prize of a complete digiscoping set. The contest runs until 30 September, with entrants in the invited to submit photos and videos of animals (mammals, birds, reptiles, insects, and amphibians) in their natural habitat. They have to be taken with a digital camera or smartphone through the eyepiece of a spotting scope or binoculars. They should be entered in one of four categories: Movement & Action, Portrait & Macro, Mammals, and Video. One winner will be named per category, and from these the Digiscoper of the Year 2017.
