Henry Boot to open office

A DEVELOPMENT company is opening its first Midlands office in Birmingham.

Henry Boot Developments has taken space in Bank House, Cherry Street.

The firm said the move would allow it to capitalise on opportunities in the wider Midlands region.

Henry Boot’s new Birmingham base will bring its total number of UK offices to six.

Director Vivienne Clements said: “Birmingham and the wider region will benefit from significant investment and regeneration driven by infrastructure improvements, most notably HS2.

“Establishing an office in the city will ensure we remain an active participant in those conversations during the coming months and years.”

Midlands regional manager Justin Sheldon added: “We have been focusing on the Midlands as we see it as an area with great potential for economic growth.

“Over the past three years, our pipeline of schemes in the region has grown to in excess of £200 million so the time was right for Henry Boot to open an office in Birmingham.”
