Let’s hear some good news at Villa

Birmingham Post - - NEWS -

IT is just a matter of months since we were encouraged to purchase our season tickets early at Villa Park because of the exciting times ahead – now we have found ourselves facing an unsure future.

We all knew that half of the team were borrowed and likely to return to their clubs unless promotion was achieved, but it seems that there was no plan B in place.

I was one of the fans that turned up 45 minutes before the team at Wembley.

I witnessed Fulham as they proceeded to kick us of the park but I am not complaining because they were willing to do anything to achieve their goal, they wanted it more.

I think that some of those players need to take a long hard look at themselves.

It is no good John Terry saying that Aston Villa belong in the Premiership and then walking away to, possibly, join the mighty Derby County.

We as supporters have committed ourselves to the club so let’s hear something positive from the club! G Joinson, by email
