Bank to create new home in Brindleyplace

-

A BUSINESS bank is moving to a new larger home in Birmingham’s Brindleyplace.

Unity Trust Bank has taken a 10,888 sq ft suite on the third floor of Four Brindleyplace on a ten-year lease. It will relocate from its current space at the Oozells Building, previously called Nine Brindleyplace, where it has been a tenant since 2005.

Unity Trust is a specialist bank for organisations and businesses that aim to create community, social or environmental benefit and clients include small companies, charities, social enterprises and trade unions.

The suite at Four Brindleyplace will now undergo a full fit-out prior to occupation by Unity Trust Bank in September when it will join other tenants including Deloitte, Mercer and Michael Page Group.

Charles Toogood, senior director GVA which is joint letting agency for the estate with Savills, said: “Through a continued commitment to innovation and investment, Brindleyplace remains a desirable commercial destination for a diverse range of occupiers.

“As a long-standing occupier, it is fantastic that Unity Trust Bank has decided to both remain on the estate and expand its space.”

Savills director Ben Thacker added: “The ever-increasing utilisation of the public spaces for events throughout the year helps bring the occupiers together and creates a genuine sense of community across the estate.”
