Re­mem­brance choir con­cert

THE English As­so­ci­a­tion of Male Voice Choirs is hold­ing their an­nual char­ity con­cert in the Birm­ing­ham Town Hall on Sun­day 4th No­vem­ber.

The Birm­ing­ham Fes­ti­val of Re­mem­brance com­mem­o­rates the end of the WWI and hon­ours the fallen. All prof­its made from the con­cert will go to TROOP AID.

There are seven choirs in­volved: Birm­ing­ham Canoldir MVC, Birm­ing­ham Ick­neald MVC, Cradley Heath MVC, Hadley Or­pheus MVC, Newport MVC, War­ley MVC and Worces­ter MVC.

The celebrity com­pere for the evening is Birm­ing­ham’s own Don Maclean. Soloists are so­prano Denise Leigh, vi­o­lin­ist Jody Smith and the Gem­ini Brass Band.
