Memory Lane

Black Country Bugle - - YOUR LETTERS - By Trevor Johnson

Have you ever had a dream A dream you never want to end Of happy carefree day’s Day’s you cannot comprehend

Your first day at infant school When you felt so alone Mom waiting by school gate To take you safely home

School days are soon over A wide world to explore You said “Goodbye” to friends You may see no more

You go on your first date Experience your first kiss Life now is just wonderful Your world full of bliss

So you’ve now fallen in love Decide to name the day Now those infant year’s They seem so far away

Your first child is born Another memory to treasure Baby’s first tiny footsteps Gave you so much pleasure

Now as the year’s pass by Each and everyone Do you ever stop and think Where have the year’s all gone.
