Market dayin Coupar Angus
Coupar Angus community market returns to the Cross this Saturday.
There will be a range of stalls from 10am until 2pm, selling a variety of local produce including plants and vegetables.
Local butchers Ann Davidson will be at the market, as will Myreside Organics and the Coupar Angus Cycle Hub which, as well as selling second-hand bikes, will be available to repair bikes.
The popular artisan bread stall will also be back.
And representatives from Coupar Angus and Bendochy Community Council will have a stall at the event.
They will be available to answer questions people have on the improvements to Forfar Road and are keen to hear from residents in the town about any local issues that are concerning them.
Another new initiative for this month’s market is a free upcycling workshop at the High Street Store.
People are being encouraged to take along a piece of clothing that needs mending or refreshing and volunteers will provide guidance and inspiration on ways to upcycle it.
The markets take place on the third Saturday of the month throughout the spring, summer and autumn.
