Blast from the past

Blairgowrie Advertiser - - NEWS -

During a visit to Alyth last week, former local resident and Scottish Conservative candidate for Perth and North Perthshire in the forthcoming Westminster elections, Ian Duncan, was presented with the latest copy of local community newsletter, the AlythVoice.

This month’s edition contains an old photograph of pupils at Alyth High School on sports day.

Ian’s mother and auntie were both in the picture, which he had never seen before.

Ian was given the newsletter by his former chemistry teacher from Alyth High School, Dorothy Lothian.

Speaking to the Blairie, she said:“I was glad to be able to come along and see Ian. It was nice to see him again after all these years. He was always head and shoulders taller than everyone else even in primary school! I wish him luck with his campaign.”
