There’s just a few days left to sign up for Blair­gowrie and Rat­tray’s newest sport­ing event, the half-marathon.

En­tries for the event, which takes place on Sun­day, June 4, close this Sun­day, May 28.

Keen marathon run­ner Peter Ritchie from Rat­tray is bring­ing the Rat­tray-Blair half-marathon back to the east Perthshire cap­i­tal af­ter an ab­sence of more than 20 years.

Over 200 run­ners and walk­ers have al­ready signed up to take part.

The 13.1 mile route will leave from Back Row in Rat­tray, head­ing off to­wards Tul­lyfer­gus and Alyth Den, along to Bamff and the Drim­mie road and back to Back Row with the fin­ish line on Rat­tray Com­mon.

Reg­is­tra­tion on race day is at the Rat­tray Com­mu­nity Con­nect build­ing from 8.15am.

The walk leaves at 9am and the race starts at 10.30am.
