Heritage centre gets charity shop boost
Coupar Angus and District Heritage Association raised an incredible £2,450 at a charity shop in the town last week.
The money raised will go towards the costs of the upkeep of the George Street heritage centre.
The association’s annual charity was organised by Sheila and Allan Legge with Margaret Taylor.
The trio would like to thank everyone who supported the shop.
Sheila said:“Thanks to everyone who donated items or purchased goods from the shop, to Joe, Jim, Kath, Linda and Sylvia for helping us clear every thing away at the end, and to everyone else who helped in other ways.
“It is much appreciated.”
