Her­itage cen­tre gets char­ity shop boost

Coupar An­gus and District Her­itage As­so­ci­a­tion raised an in­cred­i­ble £2,450 at a char­ity shop in the town last week.

The money raised will go to­wards the costs of the up­keep of the Ge­orge Street her­itage cen­tre.

The as­so­ci­a­tion’s an­nual char­ity was or­gan­ised by Sheila and Allan Legge with Mar­garet Tay­lor.

The trio would like to thank ev­ery­one who sup­ported the shop.

Sheila said:“Thanks to ev­ery­one who do­nated items or pur­chased goods from the shop, to Joe, Jim, Kath, Linda and Sylvia for help­ing us clear ev­ery thing away at the end, and to ev­ery­one else who helped in other ways.

“It is much ap­pre­ci­ated.”
