Cast are all set for the Blairgowrie Players’ comedy production of the Vicar of Dibley
Rehearsals are well under way for the Blairgowrie Players’ production of the Vicar of Dibley, which hits the stage in Blairgowrie Town Hall on Thursday June 1 for a threeday run.
Regular supporters of the Players will recognise many a familiar face in the show, which is inspired by the television comedy classic of the same name.
Roy Mayne plays Owen and Shaun Topen-Cooper takes on the role of Hugo. Jeff Brewer plays Jim, while Alan McCombe, who these days usually prefers the technical side of the productions, plays Frank, and Graham Reid plays the autocratic David Horton.
Pamela Howat is Geraldine, the vicar, Ruth Reid plays Letitia, the maker of terrible food, and Jaime Kettles plays the lovable Alice.
Show dates are Thursday, June 1, Friday, June 2, and Saturday, June 3. Curtains up at 7pm. Tickets cost £10 for the balcony or £8 for the stalls and can be purchased at the Card Gallery on Allan Street, Blairgowrie, telephone 01250 876444 or by emailing blairplayers@btinternet.com. Some may be available on the door.
