Dental practice scoops award

Blairgowrie Advertiser - - NEWS -

Blairgowrie Dental Care has been awarded the British Dental Association (BDA) Good Practice Award for the eighth year in a row.

Accreditation is only awarded to a few dental practices that can demonstrate they strive to deliver the highest quality of dental care to their patients, and Blairgowrie Dental Care is one of only four practices in Perthshire to be accredited.

To qualify for the award, an independent BDA member completes a thorough inspection of a practice, including a review of all procedures and equipment and interviews with several members of staff.

Dentist Neil Rutherford said: “It’s a huge team effort preparing for the assessment so we would like to say a massive thank you to our whole team, in particular our practice manager Michelle Gormley who worked long and hard behind the scenes preparing all the paperwork.

“Displaying the award is like wearing a badge of honour for our practice and our dental team. In accepting the award we show that we are committed to developing and maintaining a consistent quality of service for our patients.”
