Blairgowrie Advertiser - - INFO.. INFO.. INFO - Clare Damodaran

The Rotary Club of Blairgowrie recently held their normal Wednesday meeting at Ballindean House, Inchture, the home of Teen Ranch.

Those at the meeting were able to see the facilities at Ballindean House for themselves and enjoyed a three-course meal.

Teen Ranch is a registered charity operated by Bob and Jen Ockenden which offers outward-bound ranch-type facilities on a ‘Western’theme for children of all ages. The facilities are available for children from all backgrounds who get the chance to experience horse-riding, mountain biking and many other activities.

Blairgowrie Rotary members felt the work being done for children deserved their support and presented a cheque to the charity during their visit.

Teen Ranch is holding a Clydesdale Horse Show plus a family fun day on Saturday, October 7.

During the October school holidays there are facilities for all children to enjoy a week of fun and activities.
