KEITH THURMAN vs TERENCE CRAWFORD

Who wins at welterweight and why?

OLUBUSAYO IGBEKELE

Thurman has been shown to be suspect to the body and Crawford’s exploits over the weekend show that he sure packs one to the body. For me it would depend on the impact Crawford has at 147 and how he takes to the weight. It remains to be seen as you cannot underestimate the fact that he would be fighting bigger fighters and Thurman is amongst the cream of the crop at 147. To be honest I could see this being an intriguing fight. Crawford has the tools but how he takes to 147 is the determining factor.

DAVID FIELDER

Really like this fight. Crawford has better defence and counterpunching ability, but Thurman is bigger and stronger and has the skills to trouble him. Crawford UD.

WILFRED THOMAS

That would be a really tough fight to call, but I would have to give Thurman the nod because of experience at welterweight, and that’s the only reason, but if he was to come into that fight half-prepared, Crawford would take him out.

MIKE WHITE

I’d have to go with Thurman. He is a naturally bigger man and can swat! He might be a little faster than Crawford.
