So far, the longest any of his opponents have lasted is four minutes and 41 seconds. The hulking 20-year-old should bag another early victory against Brixton’s AJ CARTER, 8-3 (6), who has been stopped on two occasions. Also over 10, Southampton’s heavy-handed JOE PIGFORD, 13-0 (12), faces Greenrigg southpaw KIERAN SMITH, 10-0 (5), in a battle between tall, unbeaten superwelterweights. Pigford can take this one, but he may be forced to go the distance. Strapping Ilford lightheavyweight ANTHONY YARDE, 12-0 (11) – the reigning Southern Area king – won’t need the full 12 rounds to see off Hungary’s NORBERT NEMESAPATI, 25-6 (18).
