IS POVETKIN AN EASIER OR TOUGHER OPPONENT FOR ANTHONY JOSHUA THAN JOSEPH PARKER?

I feel Joshua is going to get Povetkin out of there in the middle rounds. But, even though I think that, it doesn’t mean he’s easier than Parker. Parker survived the 12 rounds. I believe Povetkin will give it a much better go than Parker, but he will come unstuck.

Povetkin is way more dangerous than Parker, who never really convinced me he thought he could actually beat AJ. Povetkin is heavyweight ‘grade’, pure and simple. His record clearly states that; he has some great stoppage wins. Age is obviously a concern but for sure he’s AJ’S most dangerous opponent other than Wladimir Klitschko.

Yes. Much, much tougher. Povetkin’s left hook and overhand right after he slides low and left are dangerous. He’s a smart, intelligent fighter and will be very, very dangerous for the first five rounds.

Michael Conlan

I hope so. Povetkin is experienced and, like AJ, a former Olympic champion. He can punch and has a good boxing brain. I see him being more aggressive and more dangerous than Parker, but, ultimately, I can’t see anything other than an AJ KO victory.
