WHAT HAPPENS WHEN GEORGE GROVES AND CALLUM SMITH MEET IN SAUDI ARABIA?

A good, hard fight and will go the distance. Groves has had a longer and harder career than Smith and is coming into this fight maybe worrying about the injury surgery, whereas Callum is fresher and doesn’t know what it’s like to lose. That’s why I go for Smith to win on points

Nigel Wright

Well, I picked Smith to win the competition from the start. However, Groves has impressed again. I think Smith can box and move, keeping it long for a points win, but Groves has the experience at top level to keep this interesting. I’ll stick with Smith on points, though.

If Groves’ shoulder is 100 per cent and stays in place throughout you would have to back the in-form world champion. But if it goes again, and I would think there is a chance it might based on the gravity of the initial injury, Callum Smith will surely be an inside the distance winner.

Ryan Walsh

I predicted Callum from the start and nothing’s changed. Groves has the style and experience to beat Callum, but, with the history of Groves beating Paul (Smith), plus Callum’s youth, ability and size, I think Callum will edge this one on a very tight points verdict. Really excited for it.
