Mucking in for charity

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - NEWS -

A HOSPICE is encouraging people to get mucky for charity by taking part in an inaugural event.

Rennie Grove Hospice Care has launched a new fundraising experience to test the endurance called Mucky Mudder.

The five-mile sponsored challenge, tackling various obstacles along the way, will take place at Green Park, in Aston Clinton, on November 16.

Entrants will crawl through tunnels and over climbing walls and are guaranteed to get muddy, but there will be a team on hand to hose participants down.

Senior events fundraiser Gemma Martin said: “The Mucky Mudder isn’t a timed race, but is a test of strength and stamina and is promised to be tough, but brilliant fun for all involved.

“There’s only a limited number of spaces for this event and we anticipate it will be a popular one, so please make sure you register early to avoid disappointment.”

Entry costs £30 and is open to over 16s.
