Kai’s a double winner
KAI Smith was a double winner at this year’s Little Chalfont School mini tennis tournament.
The year three pupil won the year three to five round robin from Eloise Hemsworth before defeating Harry Lee in the knockout final.
Just like last year, Luke Sutcliffe and Alex Walker dominated proceedings in the year six competition.
Sutcliffe won the round robin event but was then edged out 10-9 in the knockout final by Walker.
Meanwhile, in the St Mary’s School mini tennis club annual tournament, unseeded year four pupil Charlie Haines did superbly to reach the final.
He defeated number two seed Joe Burton and in the semi-final overcame number three seed Charlie Partridge before drawing with top seed and year five student George Dawson in the final.
