Summer Breeze

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - FOOD AND DRINK -

INTRO: A drink to savour for the summer, one that’s

easy to make and very light on the palate.

HISTORY: A classic cocktail of great pedigree, first mixed by the legendary Dick Bradsell of the Savoy’s original American Bar. It’s a perfect drink for this season, being light yet offering a crisp after-taste derived from the sharpness of the pressed apple juice and the freshly squeezed lime juice.

METHODOLOGY: Into your shaker tin, pour two shots vodka, one shot cranberry juice, two shots pressed apple, 1/2 shot elderflower cordial and a generous dash of freshly squeezed lime juice and add ice. Shake, and fine strain into an ice-filled tall glass.
