TWO creative, former Bucks boys have co-written a thriller book.

Peter Ives, 31, originally from Seer Green and Robert Edwards 47, who went to Chesham Grammar School, then called Chesham High have written the thriller, The Devil’s Mine.

The pair started writing the book five years ago and the setting is split between Amersham and Cornwall.

Mr Ives said: “The main drive was to create a thriller set in the real world, with fantasy elements. It is a young adult thriller, we were inspired by Philip Pullman’s books.

“It has been exciting to get it published. The dream would be to write full time. We are both very creative and that would be ideal.”

The pair wrote together in conference rooms in Missenden Abbey as well as in cafes in Amersham and Beaconsfield.

The thriller is about a secret that the mines in Cornwall are hiding, which is investigated by a teenager, Jack Tyack.

The book has been written under the pen name Elliott G.Allen and can be bought on Amazon.
