PEO­PLE will be able to 1 see two of the most pop­u­lar films re­leased this year at a film stu­dios this week­end.

Pinewood Cin­ema, based at Pinewood Stu­dios, will be show­ing the teenage ro­mance film the Fault in Our Stars as well as Dis­ney’s Malef­i­cent on Satur­day and Sun­day.

The Fault in Our Stars is the story of Hazel and Gus who meet at a can­cer sup­port group, and the au­di­ence fol­lows their re­la­tion­ship as it de­vel­ops.

Malef­i­cent, which was filmed at the stu­dios and the sur­round­ing area, is the un­told story of the vil­lain from the 1959 an­i­mated film Sleep­ing Beauty, and stars An­gelina Jolie in the ti­tle role.

The Fault in Our Stars will be screened at 2pm and 4.30pm on Au­gust 2 and 2pm and 7pm on Au­gust 3.

Malef­i­cent will be show at 12pm and 7pm on Au­gust 2 and 12pm and 4.45pm on Au­gust 3.

The event will take place at the Colne Val­ley Park in Den­ham from 10.30am on Satur­day, Au­gust 2, and the walk will in­clude sec­tions of the park which give god views for pho­tog­ra­phy.

It is be­ing or­gan­ised by the Friends of the Colne Val­ley Park, and any­one want­ing to take part should sim­ply turn up on the day.

YOU can go to the 5 Amer­sham Fes­ti­val of Art, which will be held in the town coun­cil’s build­ing in Flint Barn, Church Street from Satur­day un­til Sun­day next week.

A RI­FLE reg­i­ment will march into a mu­seum at the week­end when vis­i­tors will be able to meet the ri­fle­men of the Duke of Welling­ton’s army from the Napoleonic Wars and see them in ac­tion at the Chiltern Open Air Mu­seum in Chal­font St Giles.

There will be a chance to visit their camp, talk to the soldiers and to watch army drills through­out the day.

Peo­ple will be able to see ex­cit­ing skir­mishes and dis­plays from 2pm-2.30pm on both days.

The mu­seum is open from 10am to 5pm on both days, and stan­dard ad­mis­sion costs ap­ply.

Che­sham Town Coun­cil’s Mu­sic in the Park sea­son runs in Lown­des Park on ev­ery Sun­day from 2.30pm to 4.30pm in July and Au­gust.

This week­end rock ‘n’ roll band Fox River Con­spir­acy will per­form in the band stand area of the park.
