So insensitive to ‘grass over’ graves
RE: (Advertiser, August 28) I HAVE never heard of anything so hideously insensitive as Chalfont St Peter Parish Council offering a bereaved woman a ‘full refund of £400 if she is “not prepared” to accept the (new) regulations (to grass over the graves) and decides to exhume her husband’ – to ease maintenance.
It is just unbelievable, disrespectful and totally without feeling. on the route and what Inland Homes contribution should be? County, district, LEP, Inland Homes or all four?
How much will Inland Homes be asked to give to help take phase two to Maxwell Road? I say ‘asked’, although S106 or its successor could be used to insist on the developer paying; the latter has his limits set by his company’s board as well as his creditors.
Inland Homes will also have to contribute – for many years? – for the county’s costs in providing children’s education outside the park.
