Keep lights on the county’s agenda
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE County Council is ignoring the wishes of many of the residents of Gerrards Cross by refusing to implement the plan to change the traffic lights at the junction with the station.
For motorists it is time-consuming but for pedestrians, especially those with impaired vision or who are blind, it is dangerous.
The reason for this letter is to invite readers to make suggestions about sanctions we could apply which might help to persuade the council to take action.
The danger is that the plan will be downgraded in priority and be shelved and forgotten.
