Chil­dren get a taste for the French lan­guage

TOD­DLERS spent their sum­mer hol­i­days get­ting to grips with a for­eign lan­guage thanks to a se­ries of classes.

The Lit­tle Lan­guage Academy, based at the Memo­rial Cen­tre, in Ger­rards Cross, held ses­sions through­out the hol­i­days.

Chil­dren learned how to ask for ice cream and dif­fer­ent flavours, prac­tised count­ing and dis­cov­ered about hol­i­days in France, while also learn­ing a num­ber of French songs.

The academy is now on the look­out for dif­fer­ent mu­si­cal in­stru­ments and are ask­ing par­ents to do­nate any­thing that they have.

Classes run at the Memo­rial Cen­tre on Mon­days and Thurs­days.
