Need tough stance on IS, not dithering

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - OPINION -

DOMINIC Grieve is wrong again.

Our Tory MP seems overly concerned about human rights, and not concerned enough about protecting our country.

The government has belatedly announced vague plans to try to prevent those who have left to fight for terrorist groups abroad from returning to the UK. I shall believe it when I see it.

Dominic Grieve has questioned even these modest and long overdue proposals on so-called ‘human rights’ grounds. This comes as little surprise, given his enthusiasm for the European courts and the unpopular human rights laws they have forced on us.

This is also no time to be cutting
