Fun and learning for hundreds of children for a decade

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - SCHOOL REPORT -

A NURSERY held a fun day to celebrate having cared for more than 1,000 children during the past 10 years.

Daybreak Nurseries was founded in Amersham in 2004 and now has four centres in the town. The day of fun activities included face painting, birthday cake and Mister Whippy ice cream.

Sarah Dodds, director of Daybreak Nurseries, said: “As well as our 10-year anniversary, this year has seen the opening of Amersham Chiltern Avenue nursery, the first dedicated pre-school only nursery in the group and unique to childcare – a dedicated nursery for babies at the existing [Amersham Town Centre] nursery – so we have much to celebrate in 2014.

“The family fun day was wonderful. We had so many current and past parents and children from our Amersham nurseries – it was amazing to see how our Daybreak babies have grown.

“It was also lovely to be able to say thank you for all their support over the years and to share our tenth anniversary celebrations.”
