Amy on target again
CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING
TEENAGE clay pigeon shooter Amy Easeman has further illustrated her credentials as a future Olympian after recent successes abroad with the Great British Ladies team.
The 13-year-old (pictured right) from South Heath consistently excelled to win a silver medal with the GB team at the World Compak Championships, held at Hippo Creek, in Johannesburg recently.
Easeman, who finished ninth overall and second in the GB team, does not turn 14 until January and has only been competing in the sport for two years.
Her father Phil also added to the family success by finishing 16th in the men’s event.
The young shooter has since gone onto claim domestic successes by winning the Ladies British Open in both the colt and trap events last week.
