Smiles of fun at village show
AN AMAZING 7,000 people, including Scarlet Shaw, four, and brother Cain, six enjoyed the fun and games at Chalfont St Giles Vilage Show at the weekend
THOUSANDS of people attended the Chalfont St Giles Village Show on Saturday.
The event included tethered balloon rides, a sheep show, a falconry centre, motorbike stunts and more attractions in its biggest celebration yet.
The show could have been scrapped due to its usual site remaining waterlogged following the winter’s weather, but organisers held the event at Cameron Farm, in Narcot Lane, on Saturday after an agreement with landowner Michael Tucker.
Show chairman Rob Fowler: “It was a phenomenal day.
“We were amazed at the amount of people who came. We had a lot of really good comments and were very happy that the crowds supported the show.
“It was a little bit of a risk moving up there but if we didn’t the show would have been cancelled.”
MAJOR ATTRACTION: (From top to bottom) There was lots to do at Chalfont St Giles Village Show; visitors also had a chance to win prizes; young and old enjoy some refreshments
