Vote for charity to get £3,000 cash boost
MEMBERS of the public can help a hospice secure a £3,000 grant by voting for it.
Buckinghamshire-based Rennie Grove Hospice Care is bidding to win the money from the Lloyds Bank Community Fund.
The charity is guaranteed at least £500, but if it gains enough public votes the amount would increase by another £2,500.
The money would allow the charity to buy three new syringe drivers, which allow nurses to administer a continuous dose of pain relief to patients.
Voting ends on October 10, and people can cast their vote online, on Twitter or by text.
