Pubs have always played an important part in our communities and we’re keen to ensure that tradition continues. Here, some landlords share their latest news. We’ll drink to that!

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - FOOD AND DRINK -

Here at the Advertiser and Examiner we’d urge people to support the campaign by visiting a local participating pub on the day. All Wetherspoon pubs are taking part as are some Fullers pubs. Those that we’ve heard about so far include the Queen’s Head in Chesham and the Crown at Ley Hill – but others will surely join in as the day gets closer.

PAT and Steve are holding a three-day beer and music festival from September 19 to 21 to celebrate their first full year running the pub.

There will be 10 real ales and three draught ciders on offer, lots of live music, barbecues, hot pork rolls, noodle and rice pots and a full Vietnamese restaurant available from noon until 2pm and 5-11pm.

Loads for all the family to enjoy including face-painting.
