TV personality reopens pharmacy
A TELEVISION star and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant has officially reopened a pharmacy.
Johnny Ball opened Lloyds Pharmacy, in The Broadway, Farnham Common, on Friday last week.
Mr Ball, famous for Think of a Number, Think Backwards and Johnny Ball Reveals All, and who is presenter Zoe Ball’s father, cut the ribbon at the new-look chemist.
The Farnham Common store is the latest of more than 250 Lloyds Pharmacy stores across the UK to undergo the transformation and will now offer enhanced services for a range of conditions, including skin health and pain management.
Superviser Michelle Bewley, who is also a singer, performed at the ceremony and the team collected for the company’s chosen charity, Carers UK.
Perminder Degun, pharmacy manager and pharmacist, said: “We are excited by our transformation and hope people will feel more at ease talking to us about their concerns.
“We want to help local people to discuss their health problems and in return offer them the support they need and deserve in our new and relaxed surroundings.”
